EDIT: There is a lot of bulls**t revolving around Edo Tensei anyways though. Like how the heck did Kabuto get the DNA/weapons for a lot of the people he resurrected?!?

It was never mentioned anywhere that Edo Tensei revives a ninja in their prime. What about Chiyo? I doubt she was at her prime at the age she was, it was exactly the age she died at, just like everyone else. Nagato was also at the age he died, he just absorbed a lot of chakra via his Rinnegan techniques and revitalized, sort of. The only one who came back younger than at the time of his death was Madara. It could indeed be Kabuto's doing, but I really wonder about it. It seemed more like he applied some of Yamato in him, similarly as he did with the Zetsu clones, plus he implanted a Rinnegan copy in his eye, like he did with the revived Jinchuuriki. Which brings up another question - how come Rinnegan can be multiplied like that, but not Sharingan. I guess it may never be explained though.

Madara being in his prime state upon revival was not thanks to Yamato. When Kabuto showed Edo Madara to Obito, Madara was in his prime state.
And it's heavily implied that it was Kabuto's doing that Madara was revived that way in chapter 560.
I was under the impression that the revived jinchuriki had Sharingan & Rinnegan because Obito was channeling his chakra into them through the black rods, like Nagato did

Madara himself said he awakened the Rinnegan shortly before his death, when he was very old, as it was shown in the Obito flashbacks. It makes no sense that Kabuto, without the aid of Obito or Yamato cells, managed to somehow awaken/embed Rinnegan to a Madara's young-looking corpse. One possible explanation could be that he used some of Orochimaru's regenerative/immortality techniques on Madara, to bring him back to youth. I can't justify it in any other way.
