In Yugioh a deck called Chain Burn comes up and tops every couple of formats. Its not very good and incredibly luck based but the only real way to stop it is a good sideboard. If you don't go in expecting it, then it wins. This deck has alot of that aspect. Everything except the not good part because the deck itself is amazing. Some sideboarding would help but if no one thinks about it how would they prepare? Its very similar to Naraka Path owning Gencon. Nobody had the answer to deal with it. If nothing else you showed that the deck is a force to contend with. Out of curiosity, was it an LI chunin? |

If you're not siding royal decree/trap stun in the first place you're gonna have a bad time.

When you say DQ'ed, do you mean they got a game loss and then had to either repair their sideboard or abandon it, or they literally were dropped from the event?

the meijin from neutral ground wasnt the best he strait up droped them,I think that was the chunin he took a nap at the start of round 3 and didnt wake up till about an hour later then ran off to drop something in the mailbox had to skip the break cause he took an extra hour for the round.
