this isn't true at all, there were certain ways to set up a spell book to account for every situation. It just get's to a point where you had to decide which route you wanted to take and how to take over a game.

I still play every card game I mentioned, all yugioh right now is is a bunch of otk decks seeing which one goes off first, the only control deck left in the format is Macro/Rabbit.
