Xiaolin Showdown taught me to only call a Shen Yi Bu Dare if you're certain the conditions are optimal and your Shen Gong Wu are compatible.

Fullmetal Alchemist taught me that just because a skill is the highest doesn't mean that's the battle to initiate

The original DBZ card game taught me to find balance between the cheap physical attacks and the powerful but costly energy ones when building a deck

And lastly Zatch Bell taught me that even when your deck is perfectly built and settled on perfect conditioning, things won't always go your way.

I live and can't travel outside of san diego, we never get anything bigger than our one chunin a year, I have to compete with Jerry and his brother who before at locals would roll me no matter what, not because my deck was bad, because they're better than me, and whenever I go to a chunin I always end up playing both of them in swiss, This block is going to be my last attempt at trying to be competitive, but after that I'll probably be done with the game entirely.

Zatch Bell taught me the importance of an individual card. If you mess up or decide to change just one card in your arsenal you have to consider changing just about everything else....

every other game except zatch bell taught me that they aren't as good as naruto so i'm not playing them.

To be fair that's obvious for a card game where your "deck" is literally preset, as I mentioned above, even with the best of cards and layouts, and the perfect placements/positioning, you can never fully control how things will go.

Dude! another FMA player. Nice! do you have the ds game? I would love to play online with somebody in this game lol.

Anyways
Been playing Naruto since set 1. Learned that OP cards make the format. Zabuza/Kakashi ES? Freedori anybody?

From MTG, I learned when to be aggressive and to never assume, but always be aware.

From Yugioh, I learned that yugioh sucks and that rush always wins. Frogs FTK made me quit the game completely.

From InuYasha TCG, I learned that a deck should be built around a common theme and everything you put in the deck should drive you towards your win condition.

From FMA, I learned that tutors are good but minusing the tutor is not always the best option.
