for the ninjas that have burst AND desperation, if my opponent has 5battle rewards on me, can i burst twice?
if not, can you explain how these 2 cards would use desperation then:

Burst is a triggered effect, not an activated effect. Desperation would not allow you to Burst twice.
Desperation on n1592 and n1595 would allow the Ninja to be pumped twice. If you had an effect that revealed the top card of your deck, then you could potentially be able to draw 2 Missions/Jutsus from the top of your deck.

so even though i'd move the card with their effect and its no longer there, i can pump twice with their desperation effect?

Yes you can pump twice with Desperation. This would fall under "do as much as you can."
