mmmmm fair point. I suppose it's a pipe dream. I'm happy they switch it up between 360's and PS3's honestly, and I would love to play for a Wii U at some point even.
Oh, or since they give out Ipods already, why not an Ipad? Maybe as second at Gencon.

I don't see anything wrong with the gift card idea. I'm not sure if it's considered "cash" or not. I don't see what the issue could be. I don't know much about the law though, is there anyone who might be informed with this stuff on here?

Cool

If the show was still on, this game would be extremely popular. It would be like pokemon except cooler

Pokemon is alive because of the games. That is the only reason.

i know the US has way more players than Canada but jeeze, montreal and toronto areas have decent naruto numbers. our chunins get 20+ people at them. just host an event in buffalo and watch us flock down so we dont have to drop soo much money to play in sjcs. or better yet, give us SJCs.

I'm tired of these pathetic threads every now and then. The game as many players outside the US/Canada as it does in, if not more. Just because competitive scene has diminishing numbers doesn't mean the game is dying, not everyone plays it competitively, in fact the majority probably don't, especially the new block format (which is rather stale, limited, random and lacking any anime/manga-related themes).

If Bandai realize the potential in the brand Naruto and go worldwide, they would be a lot more successful than focusing on such a narrow market as they do now.

And the excuse about English dubbed Naruto anime eps? What exactly stops anyone from getting the eps online and watching them with English subs? It's a lame excuse...

Most of you tend to draw conclusions out of very narrow viewpoint, not taking into account all factors that keep the game alive and that give it the potential to grow. It's really up to Bandai to take advantage of that potential though.

Who cares? The majority of players do. Without the anime or manga this game would have never had any success whatsoever.
