Tylar's Corner - Thanksgiving Edition

Hi peeps,

Long time no speak. I thought it was time to do another one of these AMAs. I'll be doing this until noon, so let me know what you want to know.

Hi Tylar! I would like to know if you could be kind enough to look at my "Mtl SJC in Canada, Bandai?" thread and give me an answer as to why we still can't have one. It would be really nice. Thanks!

Oh, and as for Set 27, does Kabuto have an effect that brings back Ninjas from the dead? X)

Will we be seeing a new rasengan this set? Also, SJC in Canada, please! We have good attendance at our chunins, a Canadian WON Gencon, I think we proved ourselves. Thanks!

Ps. Will void get its own keyword in the future such as desperation or inheirit?

Smile Tailed beast?

Will we getting new tailed beast cards for one, three, and six tails?
Also, will we be recieving any tailed beast support? Be it mission or jutsu or jinchuriki ninja cards/clients?
Are there any other toads we are getting this set, other than the starter reprints?
Thanks in advance

I gotta speak my mind here; So far im pretty disappointed with Set 27 and im sure you have read some of the posts in the block forum and see im not the only one.

I realize tri-element ninjas were a set 25 thing (and 1 in set 26) but why not continue them. It helps promote tri-element play and its mostly on the turn 6 ninjas anyways. Why not continue it. Prime example, that Tsunade you previewed yesterday should have been a Satoosa with Wind/Earth/Water and you coulda have still helped promote healing across those 3 elements or whatever but nonetheless you gave her a single element and medocre effect.

This also goes for the 4th Hokage. You made him a single element ninja, why would you do that. on Turn 6 you want to play a ninja that really helps you out, and lets face it, playing one element isnt fun anymore yet you sitll gave a 4th who in the past has had 2 elements only 1. Very disappointed in that.

To my question; Will we be seeing Tri-Element ninjas in the future and can we expect support for it?

Hi Tyler I just wanted to know

Is it safe to say tobi will always be a troll card? Lol he either doesn't get sharigan or he does but not genjutsu or some effect that has absolutely no playability

Will we be seeing a return of uchiha decks any time soon? Like ninjas other than sasuke and itachi.

Can we expect redistribution of older block legal sets any time soon....or ever.

Which element do you think gets the biggest boost in set 27?

Who is your favorite character in naruto?

Has their been any talk around the office about boosting prizeing) again?

Did you think he was obito?

Thanks in advance for your answers I tired to get my money's wroth since these have become few and far between lol

any more samurai support? it seems real weak at the moment.

was it your plan to make the new puppet stuf completely counter productive to everything puppets is currently?

do we have a solid release date for set 27?

when will the mejin sasuke be available for prizing instead of just to mejins?

not like there is anymore, but what do you think are the problem elements and cards now?

gonna fix that set 27 naruto?

I have looked, however I am not in charge of that decision, but I will pass the word to Andy.

I cannot spoil any of Series 27

They were already shipped. You need to email Andy. His email is doa AT bandai.com. Please include this same question, as well as the fact that you are applying.

I will mention those points to Andy as well! Those are very good points, indeed.

Currently no plans.... None I can spoil, at least!

Hmmmmm.... For nostalgia's sake, I would love to see Great Breakthrough come back, but its a little hard to fit into a starter because of how strong it is.

Possibly..... Provided I receive more than coal in my stocking this year.

Please see above!

New block sets begets new focus. Instead of going for tri elements, we are back to basics. Other games do this all the time, where an entire block is centric around a common theme, then the next block is the complete opposite.

Just because it doesn't have 3 elements doesn't mean its not 3 element centric. I decided to shift the meta back to a single element focus in order to re-strengthen the lines that were blurred with the tri-element focus.

You can expect support here and there, but nothing in your face obvious.

1) Not always.

2) It's something that I would like to do, yes.

3) as in a reprinting? I don't know, but I haven't heard anything of the sort.

4) That's a tough question.... earth, fire, lightning, and water all have standout cards in the set, and wind got its comeuppance last set...

5) Darui. Still is, and forever will be.

6) Yes there has actually. I'm not directly involved with it, but I do remember hearing about it from Alex a few days ago.

7) No. I still think its the ramen shop guy!

No problem. I can understand why
