role reversal has one big weakness, i you play it and i chain my jutsu on it, you can't play the jutsu wich has requirements because role reversal hasn't resolved yet.

i compare role reversal with chakra distubance from set 24.

people were crying for it to be banned before the set went legal because "that jutsu is so busted guys" and now we fast forward a few sets and CD is no where on even the watch list for banning, because it dosent get played that much because no one cares about it.

honestly anyone that doesn't want the jutsu to resolve will either pop the user standby with some effect or just negate it. especially seance the jutsu is only a set up for other jutsu, and not one that immediately effects that exchange of jutsu like other jutsu do.

If you're using Role Reversal on a turn you get blocked, you're doing it wrong.

My reason behind it was the role reversal itself won't win you a jutsu war. Plus, it's pointing out that you are going to use something that you previously couldn't. A lot of your examples are situational that I may let slide. I would never let you get away with prepping to use any jutsu ya want.

The problem with the "I have an answer" argument is that not only will you not always have an answer, chances are they have an answer as well. You know why people don't complain about Revitalize (Good players). Its because Tree Spam doesn't start until turn 5-6 and you KNOW when they have a ninja whose able to use it. Role Reversal makes it so it can start as Early as Turn 3 and depending on the build you could easily get Tree Spam going on by then. And the worst part? You can take Shiho and have her be able to Tree Spam. If you use your answer on her then what did they lose? 2 support and a cool effect. As opposed to losing First which is a tree user and a rather large front ninja. Fang over Fang OTK no longer has to wait until turn 4. It can do it whenever it has the chakra necessary.

The main difference with this card and Chakra Disturbance is Chakra Disturbance attempted to make it so you had no answers. Something you can now chain your answers to. This is you prepping to do something. If chakra Disturbance goes off? You can only play the jutsus you were able to do before you started. If this goes off... Well jutsus with requirements have them for a reason.

And for the record, I wasn't trying to insult you Sai'ix. I was just trying to show how ridiculous your response was. Which I think the two of us have done quite effectively.

So looking at Voracious Appetite, this card is worded terribly. It says "all player's" not "all players'." I bleieve it should say "target/opposing player's chakra...." for clarification. Unless they mean for it to hit both players, in which case, it needs an errata to say "players' chakra," not "player's chakra."

Yeah, it could have been worded a whole lot of different ways. Currently, it looks like it was intended to hit both Chakra areas.

Could have easily read:

Effect: Select a number. Discard all Chakra in both player's Chakra area whose Entrance cost equals the selected number.

Role Reversal is unlikely to be a real issue until another OTK deck rears its ugly head. Until then, it might win one game, and then afterwards they'll always be ready for it and block and negate accordingly.
