How Will Naraka Affect New Format?

I think the reprinting of Naraka was a really bad idea. A functional reprint that just put in play Heretical would have been fine, but bringing back the old one was just stupid in my opinion. I will be forced to change my entire deck again, because not being able to play any missions for the rest of the game is broken. (In fire/earth no betrayal, warhawk or student and sensei leaves only shika's decision? thatll win me games -.-) No more betrayal or GNB in format forces me to either run a different deck or basically main board Shimon or Suigetsu [dehydrated].

Any thoughts on this?

It happened last format, so this isn't exactly just me QQing, it's based on last formats playtest experience. Naraka is what forced me to run wind/earth.

While I agree Naraka can be crazy, most decks should already be staple siding either of those ninjas anyways in my opinion, so you should be covered.

Though that's just my opinion.

this was a terrible decision on tylar's part. functional reprint would be a million times better. its too powerful and of course it has ambush. i thought we were phasing out ambush, not making it broken again.

Everyone is whining because they favorite POWER MISSION (war hawk) is in danger of being regularly negated and now mission negation is in all elements. Just switch to even missions or main suigetsu. Its annoying but many good cards are annoying. You never see me smile when someone resolves a war hawk or a tetragram. Just sayin

I actually whined the entire time last format, just not on the forums. I splashed it into my earth wind at one point just to make a point of how stupid he was. Every fire/lightning that went against it lost, because turn 3 they were never able to play a mission except Monster Research if they happened to get it. And then when I saw the deck list for Canada Clash I lol'd and basically just said "see?"

Ha. "Power Missions". That phrase could actually cover the description of most odd turn marker missions.
But of the subject, Naraka Path is definitely something to be concerned about. Yes Gencon opened our eyes to this card; but that Isnt the issue. Issue is this one ninja can stop nearly all missions worth playing. It's overpowered. I do wish they just created another naraka who jusy puts heretical In play. Stat'd 6/2 perhaps? Either way, card is destructive.
But to point out; it can be stopped with good sidedeck. Maybe not efficiently, but still something. Suigetsu, Shimon, even Zetsu if I remember his effect? I'm sure this new set coming out will help control ninja effects somehow. I'll have some faith in that as well.
