New Madara Client and Reprints

I was wondering that since the new Madara Uchiha client has name:Tobi, does this mean that you cannot play a Tobi ninja while the client is in play due to the uniqueness rule?

Also, is it acceptable to use the older version of a card that has been reprinted? For example, an old foil Sasori of the Red Sand as opposed to the one that came in the Sand Sibling starter deck?

The uniqueness rule applies to Ninjas and Clients.

Yes.
