hey haha im just curious about the ruling with the naruto from invasion. with his effect can you pay 1 less lightniong chakra on a lightning jutsu? example, like naruto only paying 1 lightning to activate lions mane. or is it just with lightning jutsus that actyually have a printed random symbol? its just weird because him and chushin have a way different wording but similar effects

is a Continuous Effect that modifies the cost of Jutsu that you play with a Lightning symbol to have their costs reduced by (1). This only subtracts from the colorless cost on those Jutsu.
So for example, costs Lightning|Lightning, it has no colorless cost, so Naruto does not change the cost of it. But, costs Lightning|Lightning|(1), so Naruto would be able to reduce that cost of (1), making the jutsu only cost Lightning|Lightning.
This effect applies to any Lightning Jutsu that any of your Ninjas play, not just Lightning Jutsu played by that Naruto Uzumaki.
is worded differently because he effects any symbol jutsu used specifically by other Ninjas in his Team, rather than applying to all of your Ninjas and a specific symbol Jutsu. He also allows you to reduce the cost by a specific element (Earth), or 1 colorless, rather then just 1 colorless.
