Rock Lee set 26

my friend seems so think his effect works in a team set 26 rock lee with the new burst mechanic i quote "When this Ninja wins any Victory, if this Ninja's Combat is 7 or higher, you win 1 Battle Reward" now common sense tells you he needs to be at 7 or higher combat to resolve this effect but he believes that if he is in a team it is somehow still possible to still get is effect now with the burst mechanic im sure it works but after the turn ends and the temporary boost is gone he's basically still at 4/1. anyway can someone please clarify this so i can prove he's wrong and get it over with

must have a Combat of 7 or higher for his effect to go off. His printed combat is 4, so you would need to use modifiers to raise his combat to 7+. There are several ways to do this, including but not limited to, Burst and Jutsus.

my friend is the other post you commented on and he refusing to accept his loss in a bet we made i told him i never debated his effect was dependent on his burst mechanic i know lee can easily use dango to boost to 7 to get effect -.- but the fact was that he used his effect as if it was permanent his effect never goes off if he is not 7 or higher

so to clarify the question now is that does the fact that if you put rock lee in a team and the support from back ninjas make team power 7 or higher does he get his second effect? keep in mind that his effect says "if this Ninja's Combat is 7 or higher" but my friends seems to think that cause of the back ninjas he is 7 or higher but i dont think he know that there is a difference between team power and a ninja's combat

A Ninja's individual combat needs to be 7 or higher. You do not add the power of other Ninjas in the same team.
