do i get this effect when i deploy a ninja?

2.Guardians of the Village:"When you put in play a Ninja" v.s. Gedo: Art of Rinne Rebirth
when i play in play ninjas with Gedo: Art of Rinne Rebirth do i draw a card for every ninja that was put in play (my village only of course)?
