First you declare you are activating and reveal n1499. Then you discard the top 5 cards of your deck. Then, you check to see if at least 3 of the discarded cards are Earth. If there were at least 3, then you draw 1 card. If there were less than 3 Earth cards, you do not draw. Then you discard Yamato. But since he has Revitalize, he would go to the bottom of your deck.
