Obito assumes the worst hates kakashi/everybody lol.

Technically he doesnt hate anyone, quite the opposite......he wants to make all people safe from war/dispute with mind control.

I have the bad feeling that it was a concious decision, why else would kakashi in previous chapters ask if obito blamed him for what happened to rin.

I think obito might jump into the situation, neither will recognize him, and when he tries to explain who he is, they will try to make him go away and call him a liar because they "know" he died. Thus making him feel like "nobody" and that there is no reason to return to the village (on top of the love of his life dying).

Maybe kakashi and rin are being forced to fight to the death by their opposers.

Lol more possibilities, very unlikely as they may be, danzo or orochimaru are involved.

There is no way obito wouldn't reveal himself to kakashi and be like "wtf man?!" I can't see him just walking away and not saying anything. at the very least he would say something to kakashi, if not directly attack him in rage.

you dont know who kakashi is, do you. cuz I dont even think the "missions > teammates" kakashi would kill a teammate to save himself. he'd leave them behind to continue the mission, but not kill them because he's too afraid to die

and thats THAT kakashi, not the new and improved "those who abandon their friends are worse than trash" kakashi.

you clearly think we're talking about someone else or you haven't read this manga, because no protagonist in this manga would ever even entertain the thought.

im not sure what you mean by thought she was an enemy. like, in that theory is that still really rin? or is it a genjutsu or transformation or something.

Like somebody did something bad disguised as her and killed the real one thinking it was her.

The simple fact that Obito didn't seek revenge on Kakashi all these years and that when his mask went down he said to him "because you LET Rin die" makes it obvious that there's more to it than what we saw in this chapter and that it's not as simple as Kakashi killing her.

I disagree.

It would be foolish to 'seek revenge' on kakashi. Honestly, without the 'zetsu armor', kakashi would win that fight. Also, if Obito killed kakashi, then he would be a hypocrite if he wanted to have his whole 'world peace' idea.

Also, keeping his identity secret involves NOT letting kakashi know he's alive. If kakashi knew obito survived, he would have figured out who tobi was almost instantly.

I see no qualms with obito not directly confronting kakashi. Besides, we don't know what happens yet.
