That's like saying that people saying that The Akatsuki Leader could have been Yondaime Hokage who faked his death because of the similarity in hair style had credit to their theory.

Regardless, it did have enough meaning that Kishi tried to quash those theories by having Obito grow his hair out during the Uchiha Massacre, in order to look a bit more like Madara to Itachi.

I wonder if itachi actually knew who it was, but still pretended to think it was madara, i would think somebody as skilled and as smart as his is that he would be able to tell.

the hair was different than minato's. doesnt count. i never thought it was him because his hair was wrong. see minato and yahiko had similar hair at best. tobi and obito had had the exact same hair, save for when he grew it out. exact same hair.

notice how the people with similar hair didnt turn out to have anything to do with eachother but the people with the same hair turned out to be the same person.
