Will of Fire talk from Obito. It makes no sense for him to suddenly manifest this unwavering vendetta against Konoha unless Tobi is just using Obito’s body as a vessel, in which case, Tobi isn’t really Obito anyway because his soul and spirit have nothing to do with it.

It’s a complete contradiction for Obito to say something like that when hypothetically, he wouldn’t have been alive long enough to make that type of comment because Obito would have been roughly 15-17 years old if he fought Minato. Tobi has probably had to wait DECADES for the opportunity to extract the Kyuubi from its host.

Plothole Number 8: Hashirama Comparison (chapter.
462 page 14).
Tobi says to Naruto "I can see the first Hokage in you." To make that type of comparison Tobi must have known what Hashirama was like as a person. Problem is, Hashirama was dead before Obito was born.

Plothole Number 10: Too Much Knowledge.
It is impossible for Obito to know so much about the bloody history between the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan before Konoha was even established as a shinobi village. Tobi has to be someone from that generation. It is also impossible for Obito to know so much about Rikudou Sennin, his sons, the
Bijuu, and the Juubi.

AND IN MY OPINION, THE BIGGEST PLOTHOLE OF THEM ALL. Plothole Number 11: Nagato is much older than Obito.
Why is this important? Because Tobi GAVE Nagato the Rinnegan. In other words, it is impossible for Obito to have given kid Nagato the Rinnegan because Obito is much younger than Nagato.

#10 is the weakest plot hole you have listed. Why is it "impossible" for Obito to know his family history? Do you think their is no recorded history about the man who created ninjutsu? Kakashi thought he was a legend, but that doesn't mean Obito didn't know everything there is to know about the legend and stumble upon the truth behind the legend.

All I'm saying is it isn't impossible for Obito to know this stuff.

#8 First of all, this was back when we were under the impression that he was Madara Uchiha. Saying that he sees Hashirama in Naruto could be just as much of a lie as Tobi claiming to be Madara. On the other hand, anyone that knows any history about the first hokage of the leaf village and has met Naruto could make comparrisons as well.

thats really the question I have. why obito. at the very least this is clearly obito's body or form. if not possession and its, i dunno, some form of transformation, why? to throw off kakashi? why do that JUST for kakashi. no, transformation seems unlikely since theres little reason to take obito's form. its definitely his body. but WHY???

Sure for the record, Obito miiiight have known the clans history, but that brings me back to the "Narubito" thing. This guy was so much like Naruto he even choked (literally) during a test as important as the Chunins, over a simple thing like Candy. I doubt that kind of guy knows the ins and outs of the Uchiha's blood riddled and dark history.

An anime filler I saw showed Konohamaru all upset that he and the other genin were being "babysat" by some chunins while clean up after pain was happening. They wanted to help fight, not clean up afterwards. (Kono decides to prove he can fight by challenging Temari, and then abruptly losing of course while Shika and Sakura step in) so for the most part yeah, anyone that can't contribute to the fight are instead supporting the village from the sidelines.

I feel tobirama is definitely involved for 3 reasons:
1. He invented impure world resurrection, and that's just not something you would expect from a "good guy"
2. We never got a real back story on him (besides the wiki, that not everyone reads) so I feel there has to be something left for him to do before we get one
3. He's water

I doubt he's tobi because he got sealed with the reaper death seal, so he shouldn't even have a soul to take obits body. I ll also admit that it makes no since for tobi to be obito, but I do like the idea of somebody using the same jutsu as orochimaru and body hopping so that obits body is just the latest vessel.
And the Sasuke sarutobi thing sounds cool, but he was never mentioned in the manga so I can't imagine kishi making a character tobi who most people have never heard of.

Now I kinda hope they go to a Sasuke story so I can find out the guy who knows everything.

The second hokage was revived by orochimaru during the original series and reaper death sealed then, i dont think it was him.

I am definitely for the idea of it being Izuna, he fits the bill on all of the presented theory prerequisites; timeline, motive, knowledge, ability, emotions.

Tobi was iritated/shocked when kabutochimaru showed off the madara coffin.

Izuna was present for all the founding of the leaf and uchiha/senju dispute.

He was on tier with madara in power level.

His clan gave up on his brother and the war/power struggle for the leaf.

And imo, anyone who can awaken mangekyou sharingan has gotta be pretty smart.

Plus theres almost no backstory/evidence disproving him at this point.

And if the post in the other section wasnt a lie....Kishi said its him lol
