Speaking from past experience, Andy can underestimate how effective a new ability can be. He never thought Ambush would be nearly as good as it turned out until he saw how people used it in a tournament. Still, we have to wait an see.

Can you quote me on that?

Also my comment was in regards to having a "Inherit" Deck, "Burst" Deck, or "Flashpoint" Deck, etc after Set 26.

The above examples are actually viable, a "Desperation" Deck just isn't possible and really doesn't make any sense after just Set 26's introduction of the mechanic; but by no means is it a "weak" mechanic.
