Who is Tobi, really?

My theroy is that Tobi has something to do with the second hokage. Not because his name is Tobirama, but because...well why would a hokage come up with a technique like the edo tensai? Also, when Madara was reanimated, he said "it looks like things are going according to plan". Tobirama was alive to conspire with Madara and also teach him the seals to edo tensai. Not only that, but I have a hard time believing he fell to a 20 man ambush, more like clever way to disapear. I can't explain how he would of lived so long or how orochimaru reanimated him...or why he would be doing this in the first place, but he is the only hokage who's back story we don't know. Maybe he hated his brother, maybe he was never really a good guy to begin with, I don't know. I do think something is up though.

It's all too obvious he has no relation to Tobi. Orochimaru does not collaborate with others, especially not in a supportive manner. He's following his own goals. And I don't think he was lying about the war...

If you recall, he was going against both Konoha and Akatsuki, and Akatsuki wanted him dead.

As for Madara, notice he thought it was Nagato who revived him. That implies he lived much longer than anyone thought, and died only shortly after Nagato's birth, after he gave him his Rinnegan. The fact that Tobi knew as much as Madara and that he had the same hair as he did before cutting it short, hints towards a Madara-Hashirama cells type of clone, something like an upgraded version of Zetsu. I really doubt any of the Hokages turned evil lol...

I have an ide aof who tobi might be i belive its Kagami Uchiha, Danzo`s old teamate and these are my reasons

1. age/body type -- the body type is about right coparing to the idea of just growing up in genrel

2. motive, -- his whole clan was killed because of violence and tobis idea of peace could have stemed from that idea

3. possible died in the massacre -- we never get any real proof he died in the massacre of the uchiha, he could have easily spied on his old teammate danzo and heard about it and ran to safety to get his revenge another day

4. new and old --- i bet the tobi who fought the 4th is a completly different tobi then the one we all know now and the current tobi knew of what happened that night between the 4th and tobi and decided to use the name tobi

5. the eyes -- kagami is an uchiha and he does have the eyes of them

well those are some of my reasons i may have more at some point and ill post them in as i research alittle more >.> and no not Jiraiya kind of research ok maybe just a little of that type as well

Tobi who fought 4th and Tobi of the present have the same voice, how do you explain that? Also, how did he know about Nagato being given the Rinnegan? It is something which the real Madara also knew apparently as it was his plan that he's revived through its use.

It may be that Madara used someone else's body to create Tobi, however I don't think they are the actual person doing things on their own will.

i belive because it is simply the same voice actor, im not able to locate the name of the voice actor for the masked man so my opinion on that was based on we are ment to belive tobi is the same one from the past, and i base also that voice actors dont mean anything its not a naruto movie kishimoto is drawing the movies are just made from the actual comics so the same voice actor doesnt mean a thing,


but yeah im sorry but the voice acting means nothing because thats just that can be resolved as saving the series money by having one actor voice tobi rather then 2 since the masked man tobi who fought minato doesnt get major screen time

as for the rinnegan we cant be sure that tobi actually gave it to him i mean yeah tobi said he did but why would anyone belive him, if tobi is telling the truth then that mean he gave nagato the rinnegan before he born or as a child before his parents were killed and until that is proven who would belive tobi, as we saw nagato awaken the rinnegan himself to protect himself and kill the ninjas or well it happened that way but he didnt have control of it

Tobi as claims that nagato is a descendent of the uzamaki clan so theoratically naruto could also awaken the rinnegan by some unknown means i mean im kinda predicting sasuke gives naruto is eye because he dies somehow and with sasukes eyes he could unlock the rinnegan and be the new sage of six paths, but that one is just my longshot idea

I don't believe an anime from the caliber of Naruto would use the same voice actor for such reasons.

As for Nagato, was from the Uzumaki clan, so he could have never had the Rinnegan awakened without external intervention. Rinnegan is only available naturally to those with the combined power of Uchiha and Senju, the two off-spring bloodlines of The Sage of Six Paths himself.

Tobi knows way too many things that only Madara himself could possibly know. Remember also when they showed how he recruited Kisame, it looked like the real Madara there, with extremely long hair, while later on Kisame recognized him in Tobi, so he must have known what was going on and the reasons for Tobi to remain hidden for so long. Plus when the 4th hit him with Rasengan, his hand fell down like a Zetsu substance.
