If the effect only resolves at Showdown, then how does this work?
Answer: Monzaemon's effect is constantly working and checking for valid targets. Once if finds one, it "tags" that Head Ninja. The Ninja remains "tagged" until the effect resolves. Moving Monzaemon around using PMJ or Kankuro or Yaoki is totally valid, works around the need for [Secret Skills] ninjas, and still discards Head Ninjas that Battle it. There's no reason not to have this puppet in your puppet deck.
