Sure gameplay should come first and foremost, but that doesn't mean prizing should be sliced to 1/5th of its previous value or be forgotten. Competitive players will have no reason to play, and casual players (like you from the sounds of it Rikudo) can just sit at home or meet with friends and play. There's no need whatsoever to even HAVE locals then. Prizing is important to the game itself and needs to be fixed. |

If your referring to my spelling of tylar, it is commonly spelled tyler, if your talking about spelling in the article there is no need in being a nazi

I do enjoy playing but why not just play at home or at your friends house rather then drive to a local? |

If anyone needed proof of the games impending death, this helps provide it.
First they split the players with Block Then the split the remaining players with unfun and OP decks. Now they're removing incentive for the top players to even bother playing if they're not going to make back anywhere close to what they're spending. Makes me wonder who exactly is Bandai's target audience these days. |

One of them you need to buy a lot of new cards, and one you need to buy a few. I like Magic, it is my game of choice, but having to buy a box every set so I can keep playing Type 2 is stupid. At least I only need 2 or 3 cards to update my Yu-Gi-Oh deck every set. |

- easier to balance - smaller ban/limited list Block Cons: - fewer cards to play with - more expensive to play - necessary to buy new sets Unlimited Pros: - can use a lot more cards, cards don't become useless - more variety in deck types and strategies - not necessary to buy new sets Unlimited Cons: - harder to balance - bigger ban/limited list |
