I see a lot of potential in his new theme, but I dont see it being a stand alone deck type. I think I'll try to build a fire/water deck based around mill and this new chakra theme. I think for the idea to catch on competitively, there needs to be some control, ie if your opponent has 15 or chakra, they can't play jutsus or something to that effect.

Sorry if my opening post was a little... Emotional. I've always loved water and when I think it's going downhill I cry inside.

But either way, there are only a few ways to actually make use of these cards, and yes I know Tylar wants to go in another direction, I just think that generic, balanced support would've been a good way to keep water afloat at least until a new suitable theme is found

you guys do realize that mist anbu is a really great water ninja with the chakra giving effect right and so is karin. Remember this game right now is all about field advantage and. With ink fish being everywhere with leech you will see that this direction is going to be pretty good. remember to you can take the chakra away late with water as well

This theme is an interesting idea, but the problem that is evident at this point is the "payoff cards" like suigetsu or orochimaru.

They're terribly underpowered considering your opponent can cut off their effects simply by playing a jutsu.
