1. Can I sacrifice Jiraiya (Sage Mode) to put in play Jiraiya (Sage Mode)?

2. Can I sacrifice Kiba Inuzuka & Akamaru to put in play Double Headed Wolf?

3. If the answers for questions 1 and 2 are not the same, will you please explain why?

4. Can I sacrifice Kiba Inuzuka (or any other Kiba) and Akamaru (or any other Akamaru) to put in play Double Headed Wolf?

5. If the answer to number 3 doesn't already touch on this, is there any significance to the "&" in the Sacrifice requirements for Double Headed Wolf or Sakon & Ukon (State 2)?

1) We are currently inputting a minor change to the rules for Reinforcements so that they match the way Squadding works. Under the new rule, no you cannot.

2) Yes you can.

3) You cannot squad/reinforce into the same squad/reinforcement card with the same named card.

4) Yes you can.

5) The "&" is indicating that you need to sacrifice both to put the reinforcement into play.

Any particular reason "&" was left out of Jiraiya (Sage Mode)'s sacrifice cost?
