Jiraiya SM, effect negation, and the chain
Let's say I have on the field, and my opponent has Ino (playful) on his side of the field.
During my turn, I attack with Jiraiya SM as the head ninja. His effect is then negated. My opponent declares his blocker with a team of three(which does not include ino) I open the chain with Sage Art: Frog Call and target one ninja(not ino). My opponenet passes priority. I chain Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Singing . Both players then pass priority. The effect I am concerned with is the part the renders the user unaffected by your opponents effects. Jiraiya SM should be unaffected by Ino's effect once this jutsu resolves. In this situation, how would Frog Call be affected? Would I rechoose targets on resolution to comply with sage mode's effect, or would the target stay the same? Or would I simply be able to choose one additional target but the 1st target would stay the same? I'm assuming that the effect would change to 2 damage regardless, but I would like that confirmed as well. |
