There are some websites that allow you to play online for free, but most are basically garbage.
I'm sure that at some point, someone from Bandai will code a simple program that will allow players to interact and have matches with others through a simplified interface. MTG and YGO have several websites and programs dedicated to this. It is usually a subscription service, and is also usually rather cheap to play. Some of the magic the gathering ones charge $5 a month to play and you can either enter card codes, or "buy" packs online via winning games online. You can also buy amounts of points you get for winning for actual cash. I have been playing around with an interface that I am designing for this game, and if there is enough interest eventually, I will present this to Bandai for them to use. |

I'd be interested in playing an online version, so long as it's free (as I have no way to pay for things online) & the interface has all the rules built-in to prevent players from cheating & breaking the rules. There was a site I was going to to play Naruto online called tradecardsonline dot com that let's you play for free & you can play several different card games from Yugioh to Magic to Pokemon to Battle Spirits to even Warlord.
But the interface was simplistic & some players did things that were against the rules. There was a chat function that let you communicate to your opponent to let them know you were activating effects or to correct their mistakes, but they didn't always listen. It would be nice to see a real Naruto Card Game online run by Bandai themselves. |
