have you mentioned in the e-mails that this is the only store that MA has that could possibly host a jump effectively?

I think we should host it on the weekend of the 17th regardless of what they say. If they give us an ok for earlier or later we will just pretend it happened on that day. I'm not a fan of manipulating bandai's flawed system but what choice do they leave us?

once again PLAYERS NEED AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE TO PLAN!!

a month hell even a month and a half IS NOT enough time.

the officialness is, but like I said we should promote and host it at harrison's on the 17th regardless of when or where it's "approved"

we all know having it anywhere else is useless, its either the 17th or 24th at harrison's. For the sake of having everyone plan their flights/hotels/transport accordingly we need to give them as much time as possible. otherwise we will have a poop turnout.

Why can't Bandai still consult with you

lol sometimes I regret quitting, cuz some of the stuff they do just make no sense, and I know if I was there I would at least bring up some of the stuff (especially with card interactions).

but I just missed playing too much

You guys do realize that you can't just "Host it somewhere else" Especially considering that there is a chance that Angel might not even be the Head Judge, since if they choose a different venue, then the Meijin of that Venue has the right to organize the event.

That said, I would much prefer it to be in MA and with Angel as the Head Judge, since I want to play, not run the thing personally.

But just trying to "No matter what, we're just going to shanghai the event and move it", is only going to ensure that we Never get a SJC in the Northeast again. If you are all willing to take that risk, then so be it.

This is all under the assumption that this event wasn't given to a store in CT, as I will defend to the death my home state's right to host the event and for the Meijins of that state to run the evnt.

the other stores in the area, are ghost towns now. Harrison's is the only place that even gets people on a regular basis. Also all of our Meijin are essentially "linked" with Angel being the "top link" so I think regardless of who officially gets the jump Angel will be the one Head judging the event.

It's not really a risk that I think Bandai can hold against us. We know our area and our player base more than they do. Having it anywhere else but harrison's is just not possible space wise. We want to avoid Modesto player limits, also if they do hold it against us and never give us a Jump again so be it. I'd rather have one really good jump vs. lots of poop jumps with lack space and proper climate.
