what the first person asked is what cards people were using to counter mind transfer. Wizkid "wondering" what counters tylar was talking about (how i interpreted his post) seems ridiculous b/c there are a ton of obvious counters, thus my post. Responding the way i did to the first post would indeed be trolling since they are asking what cards people are using in general (aka, which of the counters you find most useable/why), not what counters are available. Saying that there are obvious counters does not actually address the question posed and instead responds in a derogatory manner (aka, counters are obvious, why post?). Thus, it would/should be considered trolling. Responding that way to the second, imo, is not the same since it is pointing out that there are obvious counters to a question about what/if any counters are available.

Yodaz has the idea. *thumbs up* I was wondering what YOU as a player is using to counter Mind Transfer not what cards are out there that counter it. There are tons of counters for almost everything, but the question is what are you finding works best either in general or in your area, whichever you can speak for.

I'm a big fan of Kurenai both and , as well as against Mind Transfer. is also a good card to keep you fairly well protected if you're playing the mirror.

Haku and Kurenai [Genjutsu Master] don't even specify *which* jutsu they're changing the target of until the chain resolves. They're mighty fine. Also, Genjutsu Reversal can't be chained to and resolves immediately so she's obviously the best choice - the downside being she requires Wind chakra.

Haku is obviously going down in value because Choji [Infuriation] was reprinted, and even the other card that would regularly make Haku better because of removing her one-shot-ness Barrier Prep is susceptible to Choji as he is affecting the coins not the mission card. But they are options, and ones that will 100% stop your opponent from playing a Mind Transfer Jutsu *or* a Super Slap. Though once you get into Formidable Team you're in a completely different boat, as that doesn't target, and you don't know who is eating what effect until it resolves.

EDIT: Corrected the above where I claimed that ninja effects don't care about MTJ. I was wrong.

Trolling- In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

i wouldnt say you did any of ^.

you said you were talking to wizkid who ask what counters there are obviously anything that
negates it
makes the user a stand by
kills the user
adds mental to your ninja or decreases the users mental
says ninjas cannot be moved to their opponents side of the field
protects the target

you remark was kindof a smartass comment but it wasnt trolling.

The great thing about the ninja effect solution to it is that so long as your ninjas stay in play (regardless of what side of the field they're on), unlike jutsu their effect will still resolve even if you no longer control them. Jutsu check targets and requirements when they resolve. Ninja effects on the other hand even when they're not uninterruptable (Kurenai [Genjutsu Reversal]) don't check to see if the ninja is on your side of the field when they resolve, they just check and make sure the ninja is still in play. Also Haku and Kurenai [Genjutsu Master] don't even specify *which* jutsu they're changing the target of until the chain resolves. They're mighty fine.

Detonating kunai is a decent counter card to it, but it's more situational than anything. +3 mental helps invalidate the target.

I agree with your definition but disagree with the way you see specific parts of it, as I said in your thread awhile back.

And without saying i was talking to wizkid, it was "inflammatory, extraneous....provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."
