Dreams, which won off of a single FPP. Exposing the hideout.dec, Hydro pump.format, WDJ (The first banned card), agrro with trips embrace. We now have cards like Rasengan, C4, and Push being played, so it isnt like we arent sitting on power jutsus :l
I agree we have power jutsus, but most of them are limited to the late game, ie. C4, Push, Pump, Pump being the only one that is somewhat broken. Rasengan is the only early game threat that can cause a blow out. Jutsus can be countered by other jutsus and I believe every element has some sort of jutsu negation. I could understand if early game jutsu domination was an issue, but with Embrace gone I don't see that being the case.

I hate how my opponent can drop her, pluck out my only defense, then swing with everything without any worries about me being able defend myself. I feel the same way about the new Pain promo.

I actually visit the perfect curve every so often, and only have not done so recently due to the lack of new content. I think its best to hold off on the TPC tournaments until the player base grows. I think it will be too difficult to hold one the way you tried previously with the player base the way it is. Though one idea would be to try doing it at gencon on one of the days that there aren't as many (or any) naruto events going on.

As far as coverage goes, I thought it was pretty good and better than we are used to getting. It might be a good idea to have a small log running during the real time showing where you type up who plays what & what happens, simply b/c you cannot always see the cards on the table due to glare or poor focus.

I disagree with you that the meta's been play broken early jutsu and win. Its been something to worry about but I don't think any of the recent meta's have been that ferocious.

I'm excited for tp4. Not happy about anko's. Do you think that non-lightning decks will not be at a disadvantage in this format/why?
