Bored and not sure what to do...

The problem I have with offering unique cards to select people (which, in your suggestion, would be sjc winners) is: what if the winner card becomes an issue? We can go up and down the street proclaiming the card won't be a problem, but simply having something in such a limited release like that can cause an issue in and of itself. I've seen it happen with YGO and other games before and it isn't a pretty sight.

If I was going to agree to such a system, I would release the card for everyones enjoyment no more than 3-4 months down the road, this way no player can have an unfair advantage of any kind.

Having a new special type of foiling and/or art layout for the winner card would be a good idea, but I'm not sure if that is enough for someone. I enjoyed the signed Narutos we gave out with the plaque awhile back, but my personal belief is that I would want to play said card instead of stare at it while it looks pretty.

I obviously didn't keep any action figures in the packaging while I was a kid, but to each his own...

Also, Star Wolf asked first, and their ships were recently upgraded. I also heard the Arwing is constantly having to repair its....wings. I heard starfighters without wings are terrible.

i get what you are saying about the not being fair but i think that just motivates people to try harder really..as for a card being too op that is why you need countless hours of play testing...but if you do not wish to do the special unique cards..i think the alt-art cards or special foil cards would the the best way to go...

also random question will we ever see a itachi childhood card??that would be the coolest..

I'm not against making a unique card for higher placed players, I would just want it re-released to the general public later on, meaning that the player who won the card would get 3-4 months to play with it by themselves.

You probably will. I want to make it, but how do you do justice to a character such as Itachi when his goals are never truly apparent?

Well yeah because it would be an incentive for many to show up to a chunin event since they know they would have great shot at getting a copy of the card. The alt art would be the icing on the cake since having these types of cards give the players a drive to win 1st. I rather have the exclusive cards become a little more obtainable unlike entrustment. That card was too hard to get and was needed for wind while an alt art is not a need but a want.

6. Will we see cards of tyailed beasts that had no real screentime, similar to how Roshi got a card? How about card of all the tailed beasts?

10. Besides Naruto CCG, if you had to play a card game, what might it be?

1) I don't know the exact number, but I know its roughly 60% new, 40% old.

2) I don't know off the top of my head... Sorry.

3) I still like that you took it in stride. Most people come back and instantly start their bickering and fire poking again, strutting arrogancy or brashness, whichever you prefer. I like that you chose to not go that route and I definitely give you a thumbs up for that.


4) its pronounced like normal. I don't know why my name is spelled that way, but it does make it so I can never get my SS card since corporations always spell it wrong, thus creating a fictional Tyler that apparently has more street cred than me.

8) Not really. I found a band I havn't heard in a long time and Im listening to all their songs. If your curious, its Last Alliance (Ive heavy into jrock/jpop stuff).

9) I wouldn't play any other card game. I don't want to devote any time to another card game besides Naruto unless I can make one from the ground up.

10) Oh yes, it is definitely possible, although it is rather difficult and I wouldn't suggest toploading your deck that much.

11) Its no problem. Ive been taking a long look over what all happened this year, and regardless of where I go in the future, I am always happy to talk to people on this board. Sometimes you guys can strike a nerve, but I know that the majority of you are doing it simply out of care and are sharing your feelings on the situation in your own way. At the beginning of this year I was just learning about the interior processes about approvals and the R&D aspects of this game and now I've got my hand in just about every pot that there is for the Naruto CCG.

I havn't come up with a resolution for next year yet, but it will undoubtedly involve this game I'm sure.
