Question???

ok if i send out nus015(Shikamaru Flexiblility) to attack and n993(Temari excellent tactitian) blocks nus015 since i have 5 cards in my hand i can perform a mental power battle. Now nus015 is stronger in terms of mental power , would he injure n993 even though she switched to a back ninja or would i still need an outstanding victory to injure her.

It's a mandatory mental power battle if you have 5 or more cards and are battling with . However, you still win a victory or outstanding victory even if it is a mental power battle. Thus, a victory only deals 1 damage to the head ninja of the losing team during the showdown. So, Temari would not receive any damage due to the showdown b/c she is not a head ninja of the losing team.
