From Another Ruling Post

Please see the above link. This question was not answered correctly. We know what Asura Path does, we don't need that clarified, nor was that even the question. This is a deck being ran and tested thoroughly in my meta for its consistency and near guaranteed Turn 5 game victory. Like the person who originally posted this question, I need an answer too; is this scenario completely legal? Cards involved: M-758, N-1203, N-1013 1.) Activate Asura's effect placing coins equal to X, where X is equal to the opponents TOTAL ninjas times three, thereby NOT injuring anything unless it has an INSANELY high entrance cost. 2.) End turn. 3.) Start chain Send "Last Words" to chakra. 4.) Chain with Asura's MANDATORY second effect. Let chain resolve. 5.) Hidan then REDISTRUBTES the same coins Asura had on him when he got discarded to give ALL of your opponents ninjas 3 -1/-1 coins EACH. 6.) Last Words resolves, discarding all ninjas with 3 or more -1/-1 coins on them, which in this case is ALL your opponents ninjas due to the combination of ninja effects. |

Quote:
Reason 1: has an activated effect that targets an opposing Ninja. Since his effect targets a Ninja, you must have and declare a legal target in order to activate his effect. This means you can only put a number of counters on n1203 that matches the Entrance cost of the Ninja you target (aka you cannot just put 20 counters on n1203 because there is no Ninja with an Entrance cost of 20). Reason 2: moves -1/-1 coins from 1 Ninja (that was removed from play) to 1 other Ninja. You cannot split the coins.
