Gaara seems understatted not overstatted. The new Sasuke is 5/2 with a decent effect and growth. Gaara is 5/1 with no effect and no growth. Both t2.

Yeah, but look at their injured stats. Gaara keeps his 5 combat.

I can understand not having growth, but they both should have gotten surge. I hate when Bandai makes up keyword effects and then doesn't use them on the cards they where designed for. I guess I will never need to complain to them about ambush, it is not like that is a great keyword anyway, just put it on every water ninja you make Bandai.

Understated would be if his total value of points is lower than the average. However his is a 11 I believe on Turn 2. Which is overstated because he is a Vanilla.

NP: Surge on them would be ridiculous.

If they had Surge, they wouldn't be effectless and they wouldn't work for any of the cards in set 21. Having the characteristic Surge gives your ninja an effect. The same goes for Mastery, Tracking, and Senjutsu.

Yes, not always, but in this case yes, because there are so many better Gaaras and Temaris.

These guys arent bad but there are more support cards for different versions such as surge and the Kazekage, etc.
