Not an amazing card, but I do argue that (besides its stats) we could have gotten a worse card.

I dunno why people are hatin' on Akamaru here. It's a decent grind card, and a good choice for classic-style Dogs, which was all about grind anyway.
I think the fact that you get his grind effect when he's not attacking is actually quite advantageous. Think about it, he doesn't have a lot in the way of Power. So, starting about mid-game, you can just have him hang back and continuously grind your opponent's deck while your bigger Ninjas do all the work. Plus, if you really need more Power, you can Grow into the bigger Akamaru (for an even more beastly grind effect) or Squad him with Kiba. I also like the fact that this is a low-turn Akamaru with Growth, so you can get early-game Power going if you need it. All said, not too shabby. Looking forward to what else Dogs got coming to them this set. Any chance of a Tsume Kimono card? ![]() |

I was just throwin' it out there... HEY! Why you gotta go use my real name here on the boards? Anyone could be readin' this, y'know? Seriously, there are folks out there I'd rather not have know my whereabouts... If you could please stick to addressing me by my handle here, I'd appreciate it.
