I ran true allies. We left in the evening and didn't get to MN till around 1:00 saturday morning. I think noone got more than 4 hours of sleep.

Round 1 vs earth teammate tony 1-0
game 1 I hit shion on his hanabi with multiple comparatives and win
game 2 he tops baki and the perfect time. I just need 1 more turn.
game 3 goes to time and I win. Earth loses alot of br's

round 2 vs tbm water 2-0
game 1 i drop shion on turn 3 instead of naruto to get rid of his naruto. Everything goes downhill.
game 2 he hits naruto with multiple randiants, i did everything i could
game 3 he mulls to 4 and i drop kihou taking away his chidori and milling off his tobi gg

round 3 vs george from team chicago fire 3-0
game 1 i hit true allies brokeness and he hits no hate cards
game 2 he locks me down with hate and oblivion
game 3 it goes to time and i went first, that was the difference

Round 4 vs no hand water... my hardest match of the tournament 4-0
game 1 he goes first and drop miroku turn 1 with make out tactics. I start to cry inside, but think to myself that If i could hit naruto and sakura i may have a chance. Turn 3 he plays suigetsu's joy and i keep ankos memory and draw into sakura and comparative. I use ankos memory the following turn to pick up group lesson, naruto and monster research. 2 turns pass and I have true allies effects going. I play a mission every turn after the ankos memory. I eventually hit kakashi and wrap it up with rasengan, but it was such a struggle.

game 2 he goes first and i intentionally miss with messenger, he rushes. the following turn i drop clone and accidentally miss with messenger. The turn after I also accidentally miss, and i has biscuit in discard but couldn't get the 3rd ninja. he was rushing the hell out of me. I get naruto on the field but i can't keep more than 2 ninjas on the field. I eventually get kakashi out when I'm at 8 to get comparative back. He uses kigiri on naruto and I comparative. he makes 2 big teams and swings and I block with kakashi and naruto, there is also a comparative on his sasuke. I block and he chidori's my naruto and i play flower shuriken on his head ninja and win the battle by 1, then i save kakashi from the ov and finally i drop sakura and get the biscuit in play. I get group lesson, and draw jutsus and it was a wrap after that. I scream out in joy knowing that I'm locked in.

round 5 vs destin team chicago draw 4-0-1

round 6 vs jeremy weis sorry man
George wanted me and destin to play our matches out to give him a better chance. I would have drawn with jeremy otherwise.

Game 1 I hit my allies shenanigans and win
game 2 chiyo and hyropump he wins
game 3 freezing eyes ftw I win

We go to the liquor store, game stop, and denny's before we head back to the hotel. Asti champagne is amazing. I get like 2 hrs of sleep though.

Top 8 the next day vs the 6th prong. he is setting records for longest turns. I could watch all of the lord of the rings movies with commercials, and watch half titanic before he could end 1 turn ugh.

I was mad about but what can you do *shrugs*. I was happy we placed 4 people in top 8 from team chicago. Christina and Travis are cool to hang around at events. Shout out to dantae and the rets of ya'll in Michigan. I wish chicago could have taken the event but o well we tried. lol who the hell runs puppet show.
