Chapter 1
The Children

A man, in his mid-forties, was sitting at the Hokage’s desk, signing scrolls, and finishing his nightly deeds, as the Hokage.
Suddenly, the door to his office burst open, “Naruto!” the woman who open the door shouted, “There’s been an attack on the village!”
“What?” Naruto, gasped, dropping his writing brush, as his mouth gaped open. “Hinata, dear, gather the children, and bring them here. You’ll be safe here, as I defend the village.” Naruto shouted, and ordered his wife at the same time.
“Right.” Hinata replied, and then she ran out.


Inside the Hokage’s home were ninja, on the attacking side. The Hokage’s children didn’t know who they were; all they could make out from the shadows were the attacker’s head-band. Stars, with a crescent moon on both sides of the star.
“Nintai, Miko, I can handle these for ninja on my own, and I’m sure mom, or dad will be here any second. These guys are searching for something, so when I shout go, both of you run.” The oldest of the tree children ordered, “Okay?”
“Yes, Kyler.” Nintai and Miko whispered in unison.
“One,” Kyler whispered.
“Two,” Kyler’s voice grew a little louder.
“Three!” Kyler shouted as all three children burst out of the closet they were hiding in.
“Rasegan Blast!” Kyler shouted, as a beam of chakra burst from his palms, directly at two of the Star ninjas.
“What?!” The two ninjas shouted, as they were blasted to their deaths.
“**** brats!” one of the other ninjas shouted, as he grabbed Miko, and the one grabbed Nintai.
“I told you both to run!” Kyler shouted.
Tears burst from Nintai’s eyes, “I’m sorry big brother, these ninja are too fast.”
“You’re going to pay!” Kyler shouted, “Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!”
Suddenly, there were twenty Kyler’s all around the room.
“Knoubo,” the one attacker started, “I’m taking this runt here.” He said he pulled Miko’s hair.
All Miko did was whimper and say, “Brother. Sister, please save me.”
“Go, Minsoki!” Knoubo shouted.
“Stop!” all twenty Kylers shouted at once, “I out number you.”
“Oh no…” Minsoki joked, as he threw Miko across the room, “I can handle fifty of you, and not have a scratch on me.”
“Yeah,” Knoubo agreed, as he threw Nintai in the same direction as Miko. “Let’s do it, Minsoki!”
Suddenly, glowing red tattoos appeared on both the men.
“Heavenly!” Minsoki shouted.
“Chakra!” Knounbo shouted.
“Death Crush!” they finished together.
“Nintai! Grab Miko, and run!” Kyler shouted, right as Minsoki was about to punch him.
“No!” Miko shouted, as he jumped in front of Kyler, and took the hit.
Miko flew across the room, bashing his head against one of the solid wooden pillars.
“No!” Hinata shouted, finally arriving at her home, to save her children, and watching as her youngest son was murdered.
“I’ll kill you!” Kyler shouted, “Rasegan Blast!”
The blue beam of chakra flew out of his palms, and hit both the murders. Both men were hit by the beam, and instead of flying back, they burst into flames, and turned into ashes.
“No!” Hinata mourned, as she saw her son, Miko, lying next to the pillar, “Please, don’t die! Don’t. Die!”
Instead of staying with her mother and brother, Nintai ran out of the house. She wasn’t able to cope; all she could do was run.
After running for some time, she came to the village border, just outside the forest. Nintai ran inside, to escape her feelings.
“It’s my fault!” Nintai kept shouting to herself. “I was supposed to take Miko, and run!”
After running for hours, Nintai stopped.
“I’m so sorry!” Nintai shouted, as she fainted.

When Nintai woke up, two men, with the star head-bands were standing over her.
“Well, looks like the Hokage’s daughter ran away.” The one man said.
“Let’s kill her!” the other said, joyfully.
“Let’s torture her first.” The first man replied.
“Yeah,” the joyful one agreed, “Kill! Kill!”
“Stay away!” Nintai shouted, as she jumped into a stance her Uncle Neji taught her. “I’ll kill you, if you don’t run.”
Both men burst out laughing.
“Kill us.” the one man said.
“Are you sure?” the other joked.
“I swear on Miko’s life, I’m going to destroy every member of your village!” Nintai shouted.
“Give in…” a voice within Nintai whispered.
“And I’ll start with you two.” Nintai said, as she gave into the voice.


Kyler and all the Anbu Black Ops were searching for Nintai. Suddenly, their search was interrupted by a huge red Colum of chakra erupting from the near-by forest.
Kyler and the Anbu all gathered at the source of the Colum. Lying on the ground, Nintai was there, without a scratch on her skin.
“I gave in…” was all Nintai said, and then she fainted.

Chapter 2
The Academy

One year after the attack on the village....

"Nintai" Hinata started, in her motherly tone, "are you sure you're ready for the Academy?"
Nintai just nodded, and walked out of the house.
"Why Nintai," a voice said behind Nintai appeared, "are you coming to the Academy for training?"
"Yes, Shikamaru Sensei." Nintai replied, as she tried to sneak a peek at the person behind her Sensei.
Shikamaru noticed her looking at his son, "Nintai, this is my son, Temshi. Say hello, Temshi."
Temshi poked his head out, from behind his father, “Hello,” Temshi greeted, in a soft, sweet tone, “I’m Temshi, and my parents are the two best ninja in the world.”
Nintai giggled, while Shikamaru spoke to his son, “Temshi, your mother and I are ninjas, but we don’t come close to the 8th Hokage.”
“You don’t?” Naruto said, as he jumped from a roof top. “I remember you being pretty smart, and you saved me, plenty of times.”
Shikamaru just nodded, and told Temshi to go to the Academy.
“How’s Temari doing?” Naruto asked Shikamaru, “I hear you have another baby on the way.”
“Yeah,” Shikamaru blushed, “we’re still trying to get a little girl. It seems that Temshi is the only child that looks like Temari though, with his blonde hair and what not, but I hope this baby does also.”
“That’s great!” Naruto cheered, as he patted Shikamaru on the back.
“So how are your kids doing?” Shikamaru asked.
Naruto grimaced, and Nintai began to cry.
“I’m so sorry,” Shikamaru tried to stop Nintai from crying, “I forgot.”
“No,” Naruto said, “Miko’s death made us stronger. He’s the reason that Nintai’s becoming a ninja. I believe she’s in your class, Shikamaru.”
Shikamaru just nodded.
“Get to class!” Naruto ordered Nintai.
Nintai ran off, trying to keep her composure.

A few hours later…

“Nintai!” Temshi shouted, “Sit next to me!”
Nintai saw Temshi and sat right next to him.
“You look sad.” Temshi said to Nintai.
“Yeah, I am.” Nintai replied.
“Well, I’ll cheer you up, Nintai.” Temshi comforted Nintai.
“Okay.” Nintai said, with a giggle and a sob.
“Shadow Possession Jutsu!” Temshi said.
Suddenly, the boy in front of them jumped out of his seat.
“My daddy taught me how to control people, without moving, I just need to speak, watch.” Temshi told Nintai.
“Dance like a monkey.” Temshi said.
Then, the boy in front of them started to dance, “Why am I doing this?” The boy shouted.
“Temshi!” Shikamaru shouted, when he entered the class room, “you’re grounded.”
“Aww…” Temshi said, throwing his hands in the air, and having the boy in front do the same thing, “I just just trying to cheer Nintai up.” Both Temshi, and the other boy said.
Shikamaru walked up to the boy being controlled, and put his hand on his head, “Release!”
“Sorry.” Nintai apologized to Shikamaru.
“He should know better.” Shikamaru said, looking down on Temshi.
When Shikamaru walked over to his desk, Temshi turned towards Nintai, “So are we friends now?”
“Forever.” Nintai informed Temshi, while she put her hand out, for him to shake.
“Forever!” They said together.
“Do I need to move you two?” Shikamaru yelled across the class room.
“No,” Nintai piped up.

Chapter 3
The Training Begins

***Three Years Later****

“Nintai, keep close to the target.” Temshi whispered into his mouthpiece.
“Got it,” Nintai replied, “Do you see anything up ahead to corner it?”
“One second, let me transfer over to Shi, and I’ll get back to you.” Temshi whispered back.
“Hey, Shi, can you pick anything up?” Temshi asked Shi.
“Yeah, and it smells horrible.” Shi replied, in a low growl, “It’s practically in front of me.”
“Okay, Nintai, and I will come to you.” Temshi replied, “Keep it in sight.”
“Got it.” Shi replied.
Temshi switched back over to Nintai now, “Shi has the target in sight; he’s keeping a close eye, until we get there.”
“Okay, I’ll meet you there.” Nintai whispered.
Nintai sprinted through the tree branches, all the way to where Shi was located. Nintai could barely make out the target, from the shadows of the forest.
“Nintai, use the new jutsu you Uncle taught you.” Temshi told her, “Right after I use my Shadow Control Jutsu.”
“Gotcha.” Nintai replied.
“Shadow Control Jutsu!” Temshi spoke loudly, while weaving a few hand signs.
Suddenly, hundreds of dark tentacles rose from the shadows, and shot directly towards the target.
The target let an earsplitting hiss be heard, and Nintai took that as her queue.
“8 Trigram: Art of the Chakra Box!” Nintai shouted.
Two orbs formed around her hands. She launched herself at the target, and started to blast the ground, in eight different spots, each time leaving a different symbol.
“Chakra Box, form!” Nintai shouted, making the final hand sign.
Without warning to the target, the symbols turned into brilliant beams of neon blue, closing in on the target. But the target was unable to move because of Temshi. When all the beams were surrounding the target, Nintai spoke again, “Chakra Box, connect!”
The beams started to turn, and fold in on each other, until, all that was left was a perfect square, with the target inside.
“Chakra Box, complete!” Nintai spoke, releasing her hand sign.
The brilliant blue beams became a less colorful blue, and the beams let out a low buzzing noise.
“We did it!” Shi let out a howl, “We finally caught that cat!”
“And in record time as well.” Temshi laughed, giving Shi a pat on the back.
“I’m not sure how long my Chakra Box will last, so we have to hurry back to Konohamaru-Sensei, fast.” Nintai wheezed it was obvious that jutsu was new to her, and took a lot of energy from her.
Nintai walked over to the box, and picked it up, seeing an old black cat, hissing at her. “Hi kitty.” Nintai replied with a smile.
“I hate cats.” Shi huffed, as they walked back to the village, “They smell horrible.
“That’s because you’ve grown up around dogs your whole life.” Temshi laughed.
As the squad walked to the gate of the village, Konohamaru-Sensei was waiting there for them, with his arms folded.
“You caught that stupid cat I see.” Konohamaru glared at the box, holding the cat inside.
“All thanks goes to Nintai, for using her new jutsu.” Temshi gave a toothy smile.
“That’s great!” Konohamaru smiled, giving Nintai a smile, and pat on the back, now let’s go get some ramen.

After the squad dropped the cat off at the mission station, and they went to go eat so ramen, everyone went home, except for Nintai, and Konohamaru.
“Your father wanted me to talk to you.” Konohamaru told Nintai, “There’s a special jutsu he wants me to each you.”
“Really?” Nintai was confused, all the jutsu she learned was from her Uncle Neji, and sometimes her mom would teach her a few tricks.
“Yes, so be at the Training Grounds an extra hour early tomorrow morning.” Konohamaru smiled as he walked away.
“Great.” Nintai huffed, as she made her way home.

Well... I'm not sure how to totally answer that. I've never watched Degrassi Next Geg. This fanfic is basically the story Shikamaru and Temari's children, and I'm working on a main story line...
