Bogus Deck

My best friend and I are the only two players of Naruto in the Central Virginia area, so naturally we look for new ways to spice the game up. A format that we recently concocted is the Bogus Deck.

The parameters are simple:

1.) Build a deck formatted to the game manual's current recommendation of card type ratios.

2.) At least 15 ninja in the deck have to be Turn 2 or lower.

3.) Every mission and every jutsu has to be usable by at least one ninja (ie; do not include any cards with "Requirement: Sharingan" and then include no ninjas with Sharingan)

4.) Errata, Banned, and Rogue parameters do not apply.

Give the deck to your opponent.

6.) Receive the Bogus Deck created by your opponent.

7.) DO NOT look at any of the cards in the deck before playing.


A good Bogus Deck will look like a rainbow of mechanics, chakra types, and play styles.

The deck itself doesn't take more than a few minutes to throw together. Go have at it and let me know how it works out.
