Also, can someone tell me what is up with all the characters being unable to hit Naruto?!? Seriously, 10 chunin/special jonin can't hit 1 genin?!? pathetic... It's just like when the only smart enough to track Kushina when she was kidnapped was the 4th Hokage -_-

i didn't watch the episode so i don't know the specifics, but to be fair, naruto is kind of a badass now

keep in mind that everyone he's fought in shippuuden has been freakishly strong, or just a freak in general...so he seems average. but he's very good. at least a little above average in just about every way. not to mention pretty much every jutsu he knows is jonin or higher rank. to be honest fillers never do naruto justice. with the exception of maybe when he was first starting out, he's always been pretty good for his age. now he's good for someone much older. counting sage mode he's good for anyone.

i would be worried if mere chuunin <and by mere chuunin i mean people like iruka, not chuunin like his friends> could stand up to him. mildly surprised sp. jonin couldn't put up a fight, but its not impossible

kudos to naruto. finally getting what he deserves in filler. i may watch this now. and this would be the first time ive watched the anime since the 6 tails filler

you're thinking of shippuden naruto. The filler is a flashback. The episode takes place just after Tsunade returned.
