Konohamaru Cup: Final Round Rock Lee vs. Inuzuka Kiba

Kiba:
Kiba is at full power, healed to 100% after his preliminary match with Naruto. No restrictions.

Lee:
Lee is at full power, healed to 100% after his preliminary match with Gaara. No Gates.

It once again goes without saying that Lee won his match or he wouldn't be here.

It's a battle of speed vs. speed. Lee is faster, but Kiba has Akamaru on his side. A fitting end to the Konohamaru Cup.

hmm lee has more appropriate stats <higher strength, speed, stamina, and taijutsu, and is even mildly smarter to boot>, but kiba has a partner, and his speed ain't half bad and has ninjutsu to use.

adding in of course lee will start with his weights on, so in the beginning kibas lower speed will not be as pronounced...in fact, though its hard to prove, he may start out faster. AND still have aka to back him up against the slower lee.

And lastly, we know kiba doesn't fool around. when he fought naruto he went for the win right away. so it will be hard for lee who will have two wild animals attacking him right away while he's still under the handicap of those weights

however he's a good fighter, the wights only effect his running speed. the rest of him moves just fine, so he could stand in place, fend them off, then make a break for it. i mean even with the weights he's pretty fast, so if he can temporarily disable them and get his weights off then he can start the real fight

of course even when he does that its still 2 quick opponents against 1. and he has to beat kiba to win, so he may accidentally focus on what he thinks is kiba only to get attacked from behind by the real one.

on the other hand we know that kiba isn't exactly a punching bag. naruto beat him after only 1 good hit. to be fair he was tired and his guard was totally down. but still, that says something. and something tells me that lee can kick just a wee bit harder than naruto

regardless, good fight. kiba has the edge due to numbers and lee starting with weights on, but lee has the edge in pretty much every other way. gotta love taijutsu showdowns that don't involve super moves or gentlefist. all out brawl. just imagining it is awesome. this fight needs to actually happen

agreed. lee would have trouble getting the wieghts off, however his moves are a lot more refined than kiba's/akamaru's, as they are more street brawlers, and lee is a blackbelt to the nth degree. and strength is another big factor, since lee's punches will do more damage than kiba's. also, like you said, kiba/akamaru aren't punching bags, and likely cannot take as many blows as lee can. (about naruto's 1 kick though, that's not really fair. aside from kiba being tired, naruto didn't just kick him, he kicked him while falling, adding gravity to his side, into a cement floor at dang near point blank range. that's going to hurt significantly more than a normal kick, not to mention it was to both the back and front of the head, rather than a body shot)

as for lee hitting akamaru, when you hit a shadow clone hard enough, it goes away, and I would imagine the transform jutsu works the same way. if lee hits akamaru long enough he should untransform, returning the battle to 1 vs 1, however the question is can lee last long enough against two opponents. also, in order for lee to even get the two confused, kiba would have to be dead silent, as akamaru still cannot talk in his transformed state, anything kiba said would give away the real kiba, showing lee who to attack. and while the 2 of them are fast, I doubt they are fast enough to make lee, who is used to speed higher than theirs, forget which one is which.

and with weights on, I'd put lee's speed down to a 3, maybe even a 2.5, because his speed seems to near double when the weights are removed. and with speed lower than kiba's even in 1 vs 1, I think that unless lee can get his weights off, kiba might actually be the victor in this match.
