Well first of all, are you a owner of some sort of "Hobby League" or "Trading Card Game Shop". If you own a shop or such, you may want to speak with Bandai about hosting a Torney or maby a League. However if you are a just a normal guy who plays Naruto, here's how to do it.
![]() Step 1 - People You've got to make sure you know people who are willing to play in this Tornement. Let them know in advance and ask them if they are willing to attend. Step 2 - Location Diside on a location to host this Tornement. As an oppose to using your own house, you may want to hire a club area or a hall for the day. A quick google search can reveal indoors and outdoor places in your area that you could set up a Torney in. I know someone who used to hold Torneys in a Council Meeting Room every tuesday. Step 3 - Plans Plan how this is gonna work. What kinda Torney will it be? Swiss? Knockout? You'll also want to work out how many people you need for it to work. Also, will there be an Entry Fee? Step 4 - Prizes Very few people will enter unless there's stuff up for grabs. These don't need to be "OMG SUPAH RARE PROMO CARDS!!!???" they can just be anything from Boosters to Tins. You could ever have SRs for runners up. Only have Booster Boxes as prizes if you are using an entry fee. This is because most/all of the entry fee is going to have to goto towards paying for all the prizes. Step 5 - Resources You may want to purchase resources before hand likes food and drink. It's the least you can do if these people are entering this thing. Step 6 - Profit Check The main advantage in hosting a Torney is the money you make. You need to make sure that if your participants are paying an entry fee, the money you get from the entry fees goes above the money you spent on Prizes and/or Resources. The extra money is called "Profit" and some of the time, getting Profit can really pay off. Step 7 - Double Check It doesn't hurt to double check. After all, you don't want everything going wrong at the last minute. Step 8 - Invitations/Advertisment Make and give out invites to this Torney. You may want to place an advert on the internet but this isn't recomended unless this Torney will re-occour. You may want to take out an Ad in your local newspaper but this isn't recomended unless alot of people in your area play the game (and read the advert page(s) of the newspaper). The best way to advertise is to put up posters in "Hot-Spots" (Area where many Naruto players may/will gather) Also, if your paying for adverts you may want to make sure that the Entry Fee (if theit is one) will pay for those will still profit left over. Final Step - Have Fun Doen't see this as a buisness or money-making scheme. Enjoy it enough and you may just have a good enough time to not care about the money your making. ![]() *Phheeww* I can't believe I just spent the last 30 minutes writing an artical for this guy. Forgive the typo's please, and I hope you find this useful! ![]() Last edited by Shuggo : 06-28-2010 at 01:49 PM. |

First you need to apply to become a Meijin (judge) before you can host any tournaments and there are specific requirementts that have to be met for yourself (ie. 18 or older) and your venue would need to be approved. Its not something you can do quick it will take time.
