Paths of Pain

Ok this format i took from the manga. Its a little weird so try to follow along.

People required-Minimum of 4. Max of 7.

One person must be on their own team known as Naruto. The remaining players are on a team known as Pain.

Everyone must run at least a 60 card deck(40 ninja). 80 (55-60 ninja) is reccomended. If you top deck in this format you do lose.

The Naruto plays his side of the field as normal. No special rules for him except one. The Naruto may use this power at anytime, a power known as Sage Mode. This ability is able to be used up to twice in the same match, but not twice in the same turn. When the Naruto declares to use this ability his turn marker goes up by five for two turns then goes down by five after the second turn. Naruto must lose 20 battle rewards to lose.

The Pains play a little differently then Naruto. Only one Pain is actually fighting the Naruto at a time. THe rest of the pains are on standby, but tthe standby Pains still take turns and play ninja missions etc. They just dont battle. And their abilities that affect the opponent dont actually affect the Naruto unless that Pain is currently facing the Naruto. THe Pains may change which Pain is fighting the Naruto at the beginning or end of any turn. Each pain must lose10 battle rewards to die.
If one pain dies this does not affect the other pains. theyve simple lost a teammate. Pains may not share ninjas, but may share information about their hands with eachother.

As with the Naruto, the Pains each have seperate abilities. These are uesable every three turns. At the Beginning of the match, the Pains are considered to have already used their abilities and must wait till turn two to use them. The abilities use is marked by charge counters, which accumulate at the end of the Pains turn. No more then three are allowed to each Pain, preventing stockpilling of abilities. Pains may use their abilities at anytime whatso ever, but only while they are facing the Naruto. Their are Six Pain Abilities.

Demon Realm-This Pains controler may only send out one team to block this turn, but it may block any number of your opponents teams.

Animal Realm-This Pains controller may search its own deck for any ninja and move it to its owners hand. If the selected ninjas entrance cost is equal to or lower then the turn marker, they may put that ninja in play instead.

Hungry Ghost Realm-This Pains controller may negate one jutsu. Then this Pains controller puts cards into his chakra area from his discard pile equal to the chakra cost of the negated jutsu.

God Realm-THis Pains controller had Two abilities. It may either move one of your opponents ninja to the top of their deck. It may also draw one of the Narutos teams into a forced attack.

Human Realm-This Pains controller may look at the Narutos hand. If there are any ninja among them the Pain may move one of them to the Narutos discard pile.

Hell Realm-This Pain may only use its ability once every Ten turns and may accumulate 10 charge counters. Once one of the other Pains is dead, this Pain may use its ability. This Pains controller selects one of the dead Pains. The selected pain takes all their cards and shuffles them back into their deck. They then draw six cards, lose all their charge counters, and move their turn marker back to zero. They are back in the game with 0 batttle rewards

If there are less then 6 of Pains then you may pick your pain abilites.

REMEMBER! PAIN ABILITIES ARE ONLY USEABLE WHILE THAT PAIN IS FACING THE NARUTO! ONLY ONE PAIN MAY FACE THE NARUTO AT A TIME BUT THEY MAY SWAP OUT AT THE BEGINNING OR END OF A TURN!

The point of this format is to Intensely challenge the player who selects to be the Naruto. If the Naruto wins he is an increddible player.

How does the Hell Realm Pains turns work every players turn or every one of his turns.

It gets a charge counter at the end of every turn. it can accumulate 10 charge counters. Other then that its turns work normally, but as with the other Pains its ability is only useable when facing the Naruto

oops. when io said pains get counters at th end of the turn, i ment the end of the Pains turn. Sorry. ive had to revize this quite a few times.

When one person is facing at least 3 other people, and up to 6. you need your decks to last a long time. So Autofail..........NOT!
