Umm, the rules kinda vary a little bit, based on who is running it. (MJM, can you put on the OP some of the rules that are more specific to this game?)
I'll try to give you some general rules. The game is split into two phases: Day/Night During the day, the players vote on who they want killed. The goal is to attempt to kill all the mafia (Or in the case of Naruto themed games, Rogue Ninja/Akatsuki) During the night, the unknown mafia decide on who to kill, which is revealed when the next day phase start. Now some games are styled in which every role has at least one special power. In other games, there's a few special roles and a bunch of regular villagers/mafia with no special powers. Common role powers are: the ability to prevent someone from being killed by votes during the day, the ability to find out a person's role at night, the ability to protect someone from being killed by the mafia, and in the case of the mafia, the ability to show up as a regular villager when investigated |
