Is It Worth It? - Set 27: "Hero's Ascension"

Heeeeyyy party people, it's time for your favorite show: IS! IT! WORTH IT!!!!!!
Now I want to start by saying this: You may as well not vote in the poll yet. We have 3 more supers yet to preview, the great blog Mull to Four has a couple more previews in general as well, so save the votes until we see the whole set. If you feel this set is "set" in stone no matter the supers, be my guest, but I recommend not.
Just starting this early so we can discuss how as a whole this set looks, and it's overall value. The forums are more or less slowing as they usually do before a set hits, so it's something to do.

My thoughts:
The set itself feels semi rushed and a bit meh, but there's plenty of great cards in here. Obvious ones are JI, Kakashi, Shizune, all of Void back, and some specific jutsus and missions. There's plenty of potential cards too. About 4 different decks are totally viable and scary good, while the 2 dominating meta last set are still strong held. This will be a totes fun meta.

Well, I didn't vote yet, but it's a yes for me. I'm gonna get some of that new water shenanigans. Finally, a reason to use all the chakra give. I think Ebb and Flow will be a legit deck type now.

I'm probably just going to buy the naruto starter and the rest as singles, nothing too particular.

Pain deck and water singles for me. Maybe a pack here or there to pull Masked Man.

Friend of mine is buying 2 pain decks and i'm buying one. With that we can basically make the decks we want void wise. Then I wanna find someone and maybe split a case with them (if the last 3 supers are worth it) otherwise I might only get a box (for commons-rares) and buy super singles I need.

Cards like Killer Bee V2 is why I mentioned not to cast votes early
That literally just bumped this set to pretty decent standards in my book. Definitely getting a box.

Nah, pulling him is a perk. I wanted playsets of like 10 rares, and all the commons/uncommons anyways. Bee would be traded away for something I might use instead.
I wouldn't mind a Masked Man or Shark Prison though. those are pretty handy.

Sure, but can you really call a set good/decent because of 1 great card? My vote remains unchanged in terms of overall set quality.
