One Deck Format
One match consisting of 3 games
Each game will be played with one deck. Game 1 will use Player A's deck, Game 2 with player B's deck and the third game will be the tiebreaker game were the chosen deck to be used will be determined by an agreement by the two players or by high roll. HOW TO USE ONE DECK: Player A starts with his/her deck in the middle of the play field. High roll chooses who draws first and starts the game. Both players draw their starting hand from the deck. players choose to mull or not. each draw comes from the same deck. DISCARD PILES are shared. chakra is NOT shared. hands are NOT shared. Villages are NOT shared. Battle rewards are NOT shared. Play a game like you normaly would, but from one deck. When the deck runs out of cards, simply shuffle the discard pile and use that as the new deck. If there are 0 cards in deck and discard pile, game ends, count battle rewards, if the same, count total power on field, if same, count cards in hand and chakra, if the same, current attacker loses. If there are 0 cards in deck or if there are not enough cards in deck when BRs are given, shuffle the discard before giving battle rewards. If not enough cards in deck to fulfill an effect, shuffle the discard pile into the deck before the effect resolves. If there is still not enough cards in deck, and the effect requires that there be an exact/at least amount of cards in deck required to fulfill the effect, the effect fizzles. have fun trying something new. Vote and discuss |

I think new limits would have to be set. Like for example a 100 card deck. Maybe both players could make a deck and then just shuffle both decks into one big deck. But the deck would have to be with different sleeves or some other indicator of proprietorship. Or something.... Dunno.

lol, i used to do somthing VERY similar when i played YGO. though its almost impossible with an exodia deck, it worked fine with beatdown, lol |

I was play-testing, but didn't have the proper cards to flesh out the deck I was play-testing against so it was just me stomping a useless deck, so I played this. Gets infuriating when each player has half of a combo and neither can play it effectively because of that. This play is great though, and it takes a lot of patience and luck.
