After
has finished resolving, all put in play effects are added to the chain in the order that they were put in play. Then you would resolve the chain, beginning with the last effect that was put on the chain (the last Ninja with a put in play effect that entered play).

would fail because it no longer has a legal target (the target was removed from play).
