I like the explicit mention by Orochimaru that he no longer cares about the Leaf village. Not sure Orochimaru is truly a villain anymore. It even honestly looks to me almost like he's trying, in the most badass way possible, to make one last attempt at possibly fixing Sasuke's absurd attitude problem.

honestly though, I was considering how retarded it would be if Orochimaru ends up saving the leaf village. That would just be lame.
And honestly, I'm still not sure why orochimaru was allowed to make a contract with the death god and live. Did he find a loophole in the fine print? seriously, even if you don't take someone's soul, just by making the contract and having him show up, i was under the impression you had to pay with your soul.
