Earth was br but also had hyuga and hand control. Water was no hand. Point is there was far more variety then than now. Niches don't quite change but they have no support. I mean seriously have you tried to build a competive flashpoint, burst, +1/+1 deck? None of them beat I can warhawk.dec. So, weve just replaced having our own staples with having to rip them out of other elements that have their own. That is not an improvement.
The thing that bothers me the most right now is that no element has a real core. A theme almost has to come complete with it's own engine and everything. So, instead of before where you didn't worry about how you were gonna move the deck along and get your cards cause elements generally had their own draw or search engine. We now have to rely on things like the Sage and Ino + Asuma. Engines that are built into the theme of the deck.
An element should be itself and have it's own core components but then themes should help bring a real strategy and be supported by that core. Now it's just a bunch of strategies with no support from it's own element.

So u want this game to be Arian race every theme the same? The reason they aren't the same is for balance purposes no one deck is stronger than another alot comes to play and the decisions made through the game. And probability and knowing what is strong and have an awnser for it. This game is hella balanced compared to yugioh and u can build a competitive +1/+1 deck btw check out weapons
