If Kurenai [Demon Illusion] gets injured during the EoJ that she was PiP, does her effect still apply?

If I discard a ninja using Itachi [Dire Situation] like Shikamaru (Childhood), will Shikamaru's effect apply and resolve after Itachi's or do I miss timing?

If I injure The Sixth Hokage [Ruling With A Fist] for is own effect, does the effect still deal damage?
