Fish, Madara,
Spiral, and reprited Chameleon and Chimera all help keep make sure you have a drop and/or keep field presence, regardless of the situation. If you really need more, throw in Ink rat, Ink Bat, or the Set 23 Shino.
Void is mad good this next set.

I dont recall saying anything about which Deva was best, but honestly depends on the deck, or if we judge cards general. Overall yes, Promo Deva > Starter Deva, but in a void deck i'd much rather have the Starter so I turn "Every other turn" effects into "All the time" effects.
Naraka, Preta, and Asura (set 20) alone make this totally worth it.
