Lol I'm sorry but Itachi pawned Orochimaru. His death had nothing to do with Orochimaru. He had it all planned out.
Besides Sarutobi, the 4th kazekage (not an important) and the unimportant people he has taken bodies from, Orochimaru hasn't done jack. His entire role in shippuden has been training Sasuke, fighting Naruto (resulting in running away), getting sick, getting taken over by Sasuke, getting pawned by Itachi, and fusing with Kabuto. Kabuto is definitely more impressive in Shippuden than Orochimaru.
