Series 25 Preview “Zetsu (N-1430)”

Welcome to another preview from the upcoming Series 25 “Kage Summit”.

Our final preview today is my second favorite from Series 25 and that is the mysterious “Zetsu (N-1430)”. This Ninja’s past and nature many remain a mystery but his home is in Earth’s new Permanent Mission Deck!

His base stats (1/1) many not be worth writing home about his effect places 2 +1/+1 coins on him when he comes in-play, and raises him a respectable 3/3 Ninja on Turn 3.

However, what we’re all going to be talking about today is his second amazing effect which allows you the versatility of removing +1/+1 coins on him to extend the life of one of your Permanent Missions with a coin or to remove a coin from a Permanent Mission you want to expire (ex: “BBQ (M-397)”) and make Zetsu stronger by giving him a +1/+1 coin. Combo Zetsu with Set 25’s “Kurotsuchi (N-1434)” and you have a Ninja that can grow stronger exponentially!

One of the best combos with Zetsu is along with our first card today, Nick the Meijin wrote it best:

“So, with this card, followed by Deidara, you can remove a coin off of a mission and put a coin onto the same mission, making a Bomb coin. And then on the same turn, since both Zetsu and Deidara can activate on either player’s turn, you can pay 2 chakra to give a damage to that Ninja. Every turn, your’s and your opponent’s. Cool.”

Be it plant or man you’ll definitely want to add Zetsu’s skills to your arsenal!

To combat the growing threat of Uchiha Madara, the Kages from the Villages of Stone, Leaf, Sand, Mist, and Cloud gather together to address this unprecedented force. Series 25 contains loads of new Ninjas, and 5 exceptional SR Missions to commemorate this historic alliance.

But that’s not all! Set 25 contains support for Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Weapon, Cloud, Puppet, Tailed Beast, and Ink Decks. This amazing Set also pushes Decks to combine 3 or more symbols for a whole other level of power!

Make sure to check the “Set 25 – Kage Summit” Thread in the forums for polls and discussion of these great cards.

Enjoy!
